Solar Hot Water For Brisbane South East

We install Solahart solar hot water systems for homes and commercial premises.

We Provide The Perfect Solar Hot Water System For Your Home

Save on your home costs today and increase the value of your home with a Solahart solar hot water system.
We have a great range of solar hot water systems that we have installed in homes and commercial premises across South East Brisbane.

Our roof mounted solar hot water systems are excellent for a compact, streamlined unit installed solely on your roof. Our split systems on the other hand, are amazing for small homes with little roof space. The panels can be placed on the roof while the tank can sit down the side of your premises. We also have heat pump water heaters which are more suited to areas where traditional solar hot water systems are less effective.

Thermosiphon Roof Mounted Solar Hot Water

Roof mounted tank systems save space at ground level and use the thermosiphon principle to collect heat from the sun through the heat-absorbent panels and transfers it to the storage tank.
Solahart’s roof mounted tank systems save space at ground level and their elegant simplicity make them efficient and reliable. All Solahart hot water systems, where the tank is roof-mounted, use the Thermosiphon principle to collect heat from the sun and transfer it to your hot water.

The 302L solar hot water system has its vitreous enamel lined solar storage tank installed on the roof directly coupled to the solar collectors. It works on the simple scientific fact that hot water rises. As the sun heats the water in the solar collectors, the increase in temperature causes the water to rise through an insulated copper pipe into the storage tank. Copper is used for the risers because of its high thermal conductivity ensuring the maximum amount of heat energy is passed to the water. This allows cooler water from the solar hot water storage tank to flow into the solar collectors to be heated by the sun’s energy. This process continues while solar energy is available.

In this way Solahart solar water heaters constantly soak up the sun’s energy to maximise your energy savings. With a Solahart thermosiphon solar hot water heating system you can choose from a range of boosters including in-tank electric or in-line gas boosters to ensure you always have hot water on tap even on cloudy days.

Split System Solar Hot Water

Our split system solar water heaters are an option that provides aesthetic appeal for your home while maximising the potential savings from the sun. The storage tank is installed at ground level out of sight while the panels are mounted on the roof facing the equator. To ensure the continuous flow of water, an electric pump or circulator is included.
You can also choose from a range of boosters including in-tank electric or in-line gas boosters to ensure you always have hot water on tap, even on cloudy days.
Solahart’s split system solar water heaters are designed for flexible installation in most locations around your home. Solahart solar hot water systems will also help reduce your impact on the environment and your overall carbon footprint whilst allowing your family to save money when it comes to your household water and energy consumption.

Solahart Heat Pump Water Heaters

The Solahart heat pump is a smart, energy efficient alternative for areas where a traditional solar water heater may not be suitable, such as an application with a shaded north facing roof. Rather than using roof mounted collectors, efficient heat pump technology extracts energy from the surrounding air. Ambient warmth is used to convert the refrigerant within the sealed system into a gas. The gas is then compressed to generate even more heat which then heats the water in the tank. What’s more this process can work day or night, in sunshine and rain, all year round.

Installation is quick and easy. The heat pump water heater can usually be installed in the same location as an outdoor electric water heater and connected up to the existing plumbing and electrical connections, making it a great replacement for an existing water heater. It is also equipped with an electric booster designed to operate only in very cold conditions to ensure a quick and efficient supply of hot water when you may need it most. The ceramic lined tank is further protected by its sacrificial anode.
