Optimal Performance

Our most popular system, designed for medium to high solar gain areas.

Low Maintenance

Elegant simplicity provides efficiency, reliability and low maintenance, as it does not require a pump to circulate the water.

Reduce Energy Use

Water heating energy use may be reduced by up to 50% to 85%**

Solahart Warranty

5-year parts and labour warranty and a 10-year warranty on Free Heat models, for peace of mind.*

The Most Affordable Battery Storage

A solar water heater works just like a battery, storing energy from the sun in the form of hot water, ready for use at a later time. It is the first solar energy storage device, and Solahart has been perfecting it for decades, since 1953. So, like a solar battery, solar hot water captures energy from the sun and stores it for later, but of the two, solar hot water is the more affordable option.

Why Is Solahart So Good?

Industry-leading cobalt blue enamel especially designed for high temperatures.

Precision Laser Welding Technology ensures all tanks meet Solahart’s strict quality control standards.

European flow coat for uniform enamel thickness.

The final step in the process ensures stable temperature control for optimum enamel adhesion.

Still Enjoy Hot Water On Cloudy Days!

Solahart has two booster options available to ensure you will not have to settle for lukewarm water when the sun is not shining. Your local Solahart expert can advise you on the booster option that’s best for you.

How Much Will i save?

Water Heating = 25%

Australian Household Energy Use

Water heating is the second largest household energy user comprising approximately 25% of the average Australian household’s energy use.

So it makes sense to install a solar water heater to reduce your hot water energy use by up to 50% to 90%**.

The great thing about solar water heaters is that they store energy free from the sun in a tank, in the form of hot water, ready for use at a later time, which is in effect, just like a battery. And because they are so efficient, solar water heater collectors take up about ⅓^ of the roof space needed for a PV system that would produce an equivalent amount of energy.

Solahart Super-Shield® Enamel Tank Protection

Solahart’s unique, industry-leading cobalt blue enamel formula offers optimum tank protection against corrosion, as it is specifically designed to withstand the high temperatures solar water heaters are subjected to. During the manufacturing process, the tank is welded together utilising precision laser technology and the unique formula is applied using a European flow coat process to ensure a uniform enamel coating.

** Energy savings of up to 50% to 85% shown are based on Australian Government approved TRNSYS simulation modelling using a medium load. Savings will vary depending upon your location, type of Solahart system installed, orientation and inclination of the solar collectors, type of water heater being replaced, hot water consumption and fuel tariff. Maximum financial savings off your hot water bill are achievable when replacing an electric water heater on continuous tariff. Refer to for more information.

Solahart were amazing and really helped us with installing solar hot water for our small home. We weren’t sure which option to choose and they were brilliant at explaining the different choices we had!

We had solar panels on the roof but felt we we could have been doing more to save costs. With a family of 3 girls, we discovered it was our hot water that was costing us the most. Once we installed solar our bills went into credit.
